Jami serves Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame with a diverse background in non-profit, children programs, as well as legal, print, graphic arts, entertainment, buying, and budgetary experience. Originally from Oklahoma, she moved to Sherman, Texas in 1968 and then to the Fort Worth in 1973.
A 1992 graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, receiving a BBA in Economics, she obtained her Para-legal certification from The University of North Texas. She is presently working toward her Masters in Business Administration.
Jami returns to Fort Worth from Graham, Texas, where she served as Associate Business Director for YMCA Camp Grady Spruce, for over six years and which served over 90,000 children and adults annually. She met Rick and Penny MacLeod while at Camp Grady Spruce and became life-long friends. She has witnessed first hand the passion of this family to provide 100% quality horsemanship and horsecare.
Prior to this, Jami was Personal Assistant to Reba McEntire, in Nashville, Tennessee. A childhood friend of Ms. McEntire, Jami was responsible for establishing and setting up Ms. McEntire's Nashville office after her move from Oklahoma in the late 1980s. Jami also represented Ms. McEntire as her personal liaison in all professional areas and was responsible for supervising tour accommodations, fan club and office personnel.
